Glowing bacon recipe has become one of my favorite things to make with my bacon.
It makes the perfect side dish or a dessert.
Here’s how to do it: First, you’ll need a couple of bacon strips.
These strips are about the size of a small pea and are just a little bit greasy.
They’re easy to peel and cut into desired size.
Make a few strips and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Use a spoon to scrape up any excess grease.
Next, you’re going to make the gravy.
I use a little extra virgin olive oil, but any good oil will work.
Add a little lemon juice, a few cloves of garlic, and a few tablespoons of grated fresh ginger to the bacon strips and mix.
Mix until smooth.
Add a couple tablespoons of flour, a teaspoon of salt, and about half a cup of water to the mixture.
Mix again until smooth and creamy.
Now you’ll want to make pulled pork.
You can either make it from scratch or make it in the same manner as bacon, but I recommend the latter because you’re making pulled pork, not bacon.
Place the bacon strip in a frying pan and cook over medium-high heat until it begins to brown.
You don’t want the bacon to burn and get browned.
When the bacon is done cooking, remove it from the pan and set aside.
With a spatula, transfer the pulled pork to a plate and set it aside.
Make the gravy, which you’ll use to top the pulled-pork.
Add 1 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper to a small bowl.
Then, add the bacon, ginger, and garlic.
Mix until well combined.
Pour into a bowl and pour the gravy over the pulled pig.
Sprinkle the pork with a little fresh basil, and sprinkle a bit of Parmesan cheese over top. Enjoy!
