The new burger, which will have a six-foot tall, $40.5 million burger and a 12-foot wide, $41 million bun, will go on sale at the U.S. Department of Agriculture on Oct. 26.
“Our commitment to bringing quality to our consumers has never been stronger, and our new burger will bring a sense of excitement and excitement to the industry,” McDonald’s Corp. Chairman and CEO Don Thompson said in a statement.
“We know our customers will be pleased to discover that our new menu item is the ultimate burger experience,” Thompson added.
The burger is made of three layers of meat, a side of cheese and a pickle.
The burger will be available in a variety of flavors, including grilled cheese, sweet potato fries, bacon-wrapped fries and a “mixed bag of toppings.”
