How to make pizza with cheese and cheese sauce

Ingredients: 3/4 cup cheese (I used my favorite, but any good brand will work) 3 tablespoons butter (I like to use unsalted butter, but I like to get extra flavor from the extra butter) 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese 1 large egg white 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 1/4 teaspoon salt Directions: Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Once the butter is melted, add the cheese and stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to medium low and add the egg white.

Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese has melted and the egg is slightly runny.

Remove from heat and stir in the parmesant cheese.

Spread the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Let cool before cutting into slices.

Serve with a dollop of sour cream.

Recipe Notes: You could also use a homemade pizza sauce, but it’s a bit more labor intensive.

For the pizza sauce I used: 1/3 cup sour cream 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, shredded (I liked the old-fashioned way) Directions: In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cayanne pepper.

Set aside.

Heat the butter and cream in a skillet over moderate heat.

Add the mozzardia and let melt for a few minutes, until it is melted and smooth.

Add egg white and stir until combined.

Add Parmesan and mix.

Remove skillet from heat, cover with foil and let sit for a couple of minutes.

Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, whisk together the sour and egg cream.

Slowly add the cream and Parmesan mixture to the butter mixture.

Mix until well combined.

Slowly stir in your cheese sauce.

Let sit for 15 minutes.

Add sour cream and mix well.

Place slices on the baking sheet, sprinkle with sour cream if desired.

Serve immediately.

Recipe notes: This recipe makes a lot of pizza.

To make it easier, I also used a large bowl for the dough.

The dough should be at room temperature.

If it’s too warm, it’ll be too hard to spread on the crust.

The cheese sauce will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container.

You can also freeze it for up, up, and away.
