Cinnamon Roll Recipe: Cinnamon Roll – a Cinnamon Roll recipe

In a world where you can’t be more than a foot away from a vending machine when you need to pay, you can get your fix of cinnamon rolls at the most local convenience store.

But when it comes to ordering the savoury, chewy pastry, you needn’t travel far.

That’s why our readers’ favourite snack has come to us by way of a real-life cinnamon roll shop.

Find out how to make the cinnamon roll that your sweet tooth will love.

The idea for a cinnamon roll started with a sweet tooth craving.

“I got into the sweet roll business when I was about 10 years old, and I’d always loved the cinnamon rolls in my house, they’re the most delicious kind.

But I never found them anywhere else,” explains Sarah.

“So I tried making cinnamon rolls myself for a while and I was pretty amazed how easy they were.

They were so tasty.”

Sarah and her family have been eating the sweets for the last four years, but it wasn’t until her mum was in the hospital with pneumonia that she decided to open up the shop.

“She was diagnosed with pneumonia last year, so I had to put her in the ICU, and she was very sick,” says Sarah.

Sarah then decided to take the business public.

“My mum was diagnosed a couple of years ago, so she was only recovering from pneumonia at the time,” she says.

“It was a bit of a surprise for us when she passed away last year.”

After relocating to Sydney, Sarah decided to find a local bakery that she knew would be able to deliver the dough to her home, and was delighted when she found The Cinnamon Roll Factory in the inner-city.

“That bakery was the only one that could get the dough and then bake it,” she explains.

“They had to have their own oven, which meant I’d have to get my own ingredients, which I did.

It was a very tough time for us.”

Sarah has now been selling cinnamon rolls for over two years, and it’s not the only thing she has started.

“The more I sell the cinnamon, the more people are coming to us, so now we’re really looking to expand and grow our business,” she adds.

The Cinnamon Roll Store is currently looking for a full-time baker and pastry chef, so if you’re interested in opening up your own bakery or baking, you could be in for a treat. “
